MOE: if you wanted to know more

If you read my entry on kawaii in general but wanted to know more about moe (moe-AYE), then this entry is for you! I'll go in to further detail about the moe style, and even show you some pictures! If you wanted to learn more, I'm here to help!

First I'll tell you why moe fits in to the kawaii genre. Kawaii means cute, and that's what it is; cute. But moe characters are cute for a different reason. These characters are mature girls with giant, shiny eyes. They have the biggest eyes in all of anime! When you look at the pictures, you will see how cute they are.

You may be wondering if moe is just another term for shojo. I can proudly tell you that it's not. Like I said earlier, moes have matured figures like an adult, while shojos look more like teenagers. Also, shojos have 'average sized eyes'. They are shiny, but smaller than moe eyes.

What did I tell you. Cute, right?
